In May, June, and July, the Public Service Commission will host four customer public hearings in Aiken, Bluffton, North Charleston, and Columbia to hear from Dominion Energy South Carolina, Inc. (DESC) customers on the company's recent application before the PSC, which includes a request for a rate increase.
Dominion, in its application, proposes an increase of $18.86 or 14.21% for residential customers, an increase of $2,002.25 or 12.32% for commercial customers, and an increase of $57,486.40 or 12.68% for industrial customers. The PSC wants to hear your opinion on this request at one of their public hearings--here's the schedule and locations of those hearings.
