How Do I Testify at the Dominion Night Hearings?

Tue, 10/20/2020

If you're a customer of Dominion Energy, South Carolina (formerly known as SCE&G), you've received a letter in the mail from the company with more information on the Public Service Commission of South Carolina's series of virtual public night hearings on November 9th, 10th, and 12th. You may have some questions about that letter, so here are the basics:

1) It outlines the steps you'll need to take if you're interested in testifying virtually at the Commission's public night hearings.

2) It's in response to Dominion Energy’s request for rate adjustments, including a rate increase for its consumers.

3) Participation in the night hearing series is entirely voluntary.

If you decide you do want to testify at one of the night hearings, you’ll find information in the letter that gives you all you need to know. You can either testify via audio only or via webconferencing. If you decide to testify through webconferencing software, we’ve produced a video to walk you through the process, and you can watch that at this link.
