The PSC has scheduled a public hearing in Docket No. 2023-9-E, which relates to Dominion Energy South Carolina, Inc.’s Integrated Resource Plan, or “IRP.” An IRP is an electric utility’s forecast or prediction of the electric utility’s resources needed to provide safe, reliable electricity in the future. Think of it as a utility’s strategic operational plan for the next fifteen years that considers both customers’ demand for electricity and the utility’s ability to supply it.
This customer public hearing will take place on Monday, August 28th at 10:00 a.m. and will continue that afternoon at 5:30 p.m. It will continue on Tuesday, August 29th at 5:30 p.m. only if needed. The hearing will take place at the Public Service Commission's offices at 101 Executive Center Drive, Columbia, SC 29210. You can testify either virtually or in-person for this hearing and you can sign up to testify at the customer public hearing in one of three ways:

Preregistering means you will have a slot reserved before the hearing opens on Monday, August 28th. Customers who sign up on the day of the hearing to testify in person, but do not pre-register, will be called after those witnesses who preregistered. Please preregister before 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25th, 2023.
If you don't preregister, you can arrive at the Commission's office at 101 Executive Center Drive, Columbia, SC 29210 at the start of the hearing to register.
