The Public Service Commission has scheduled a customer public hearing for Duke Energy Progress, LLC (DEP) customers in September and October to gather public input on DEP's request in Docket No. 2025-154-E. In its application, DEP estimates a bill increases and provides sample adjustments in rates, which you can review at this link.

Please note that the Florence, Sumter, and Lee County public hearings are in-person, meaning you will be required to attend if you want to testify. The hearing in Columbia on October 27th will be in-person or virtual, so you may either attend in person or call in to testify virtually. Each testimony is limited to three (3) minutes, so everyone can be heard. All testimony will be given under oath. Testimony becomes part of the case/official record. If you would like to speak, you may sign up in one of three ways:

• Call 803-896-7829.
The Commission will call the names of those persons who pre-register to testify first. Then the Commission will call the names of the other persons who did not pre-register to testify.
