On March 21st and 23rd, the Public Service Commission of South Carolina will host a consumer hearing in Docket No. 2021-324-WS, which deals with Kiawah Island Utility, Inc.’s application before the Commission. In their application, Kiawah Island Utility is seeking an increase of 15.17-15.19% over their current rates.
The hearing schedule is as follows:
March 21st:
9 a.m.-1 p.m.
4 p.m.-8 p.m.
March 23rd:
9 a.m.-1 p.m.
4 p.m.-8 p.m.
If you are a Kiawah Island Utility, Inc. customer and would like to speak in person or over the phone before the Commission, you must sign up before 4 p.m. on March 18th! To do so, email the Commission at communications@psc.sc.gov or call 803.896.5133. When you call or email, please provide your name, the telephone number you want to be called back at when it’s your turn to speak, your home address, and whether you want to testify over the phone or in person.
